Workshop Description
This 2-day, in-person, workshop, which can be scheduled and held near you, will provide instruction in key aspects of leadership. We will discuss and complete activities that will reinforce necessary skills for ‘people leaders’ to improve the performance of their teams and deliver results needed by the business! Class sizes are kept purposely small at less than 20 people in order to maximize the learning impact through active participation.
Each participant will complete a follow-up ‘Change Commitment Contract’ to ensure that this is not your typical check-the-box workshop. This ‘contract’ will require them to practice key learnings and reinforce behavior changes, which will generate measurable performance results!
By combining the workshop with one-on-one coaching and follow-up activities for the participants into the full Boosting Leadership Developmental Program, you will maximize performance and ensure the changes stick!
Topics to be covered in depth include:
the types of leadership and how to effectively use each
the necessary aspects of leadership to build a successful and engaged team
key behavioral traits and traps for the leader
how to build trust within your team
key communication skills and pitfalls
overcoming YOUR unconscious biases to be a more inclusive leader
coaching and developing YOUR team
expanding YOUR influence for greater impact
These topics are taught based on current theory and research, but then are reinforced with real-life experience and examples. Participants will partake in activities during the workshop to reinforce key points. We start with broad topics and then get very specific with the skills needed to succeed and deliver results as a leader.

Getting the entire team on the same page for priorities, language, and deployment of engaging techniques
